Maria had alway had a thing for Tom, having both attended the same high school, but it was years later at a local bar these two fell in love.
Maria’s hotel room was buseling with a merry-go-round of makeup and hair applications, the turning of pages on an old photo album, and Maria’s mother finishing up the last details on the veil. Each girl could be heard laughing or nearly in tears as they processed the amazing significance of August 20th, 2016.
And while the girls were getting ready, Tom and the guys were back at his apartment in the heart of Philadelphia. When it was discovered no one knew how to fold a pocket square, Youtube came to the rescue and the guys were back to cheersing to the adventure before heading off to the ceremony.
Tom and Maria decided to forgo the now popular “first look” and Maria walked the long aisle at at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Mount Laurel, NJ to her soon-to-be husband. After exchanging their kiss, the couple went to their parents who had the honor of being the first ones to congratulate them. The tenderness of Maria’s mom and the kiss they shared filled the room with joy.
Tom and Maria had their reception at a yacht club that afforded amazing views of the waterfront. Never could I say before this wedding that there would be something better than a harbor at sunset, but the band at this wedding surely made me change my mind!
