After I receive an inquiry, I usually search for the person on Facebook. 🙂 As a photographer, I connect with faces or in-person conversations, so I love if I can find even just a profile photo to “connect” me with who I am talking to through email.
I was so surprised to not only find Michelle, but see that we had a common friend…my husband! Turns out they knew each other growing up since their families attended the same church. My husband is VERY good judge of character, so I was sure Michelle was going to be just as lovely as he described.

What I wasn’t expecting was for her to have the most adorable baby belly ever! Can you believe she’s 33 weeks? Baby Boy has snuggled himself nice and low….so low that her belly nearly disappeared in certain sitting positions. <3

I love that Michelle and Michael decided on an in-home maternity session in their gorgeous Phoenix residence. There’s just something about being in your own space that let’s you relax and enjoy it so much more. We walked around the home and photographed in the living room, their master, the nursery and in the backyard.

I am excited to help them welcome Baby Boy into their home in just a few months too. It will be so fun to “recreate” these images but with a sweet new baby in their arms!
