This gorgeous expectant mother is the owner of Perfect Chance Photography, and is a fellow birth photographer (turned friend). Chance and I have talked about our business, passions, and life in general when the idea of me traveling up to north to capture her maternity photographs came up.  I cannot turn down any opportunity to shoot in locations like Jerome, AZ!  It is so unique and different from what we have in Phoenix.

My husband and I went up to spend the entire day in Jerome and we planned out our route for the session as best we could.  We had a little wrench thrown it when we realized the sunset time in the valley (7:45pm) is drastically different from the sunset time in Jerome (6:00pm) due to the mountain blocking the sun.  🙁  There’s essentially no golden-hour there.  How sad for the residents!  I imagine the sunrise probably makes up for it though.

Chance was an amazing sport.  Even while sporting a 38 week belly, she was up for anything!  And isn’t she just STUNNING??!?!

I am so happy I finally met her and we can officially be more than just Facebook friends. 🙂  I cannot wait to see her become a mother of three and welcome her new son into the world!
