The Griffin family invited me up to Flagstaff to document their summer life, the same place Julie spent many summer days as a child. Now she gets to watch her daughters explore and fall in love with the beauty of the mountains too!

The kids played with bubbles, showed me their castles made of sticks, and laid on the hammock grandpa put up just for them. The day was made extra special when Julie and Daniel surprised her parents with an announcement– another baby Griffin would be joining the family soon!

To wind down, the family walked the neighborhood just as the sun was beginning to dip below the trees. Once the girls had their fill of adventure and treasure seeking, everyone sat on the back porch to eat ice cream bars, exchange affection and enjoy the cool, summer breeze.
