I am so excited to bring you another Phoenix birth adoption story!  Baby Caiden was born just after Halloween, on November 1st.  I had the honor of documenting him with BOTH of his families.  I became a birth photographer after the birth of my own son and experiencing the deep, self-sacrificing love that is unlike anything I had ever known.  That love, the love a parent feels for their child, deserves to be documented. It is the most important day in a person’s life.  It was overwhelming to be with both sides of this adoption and see them experience this same love.

And, now having experienced two adoptions over the past few months, I have the utmost respect for a birth mom who can give the gift of life to another family.  It’s beautiful.  It’s heartbreaking.  It’s heart-filling.  And it is most definitely, a sacrifice.

It was my honor to meet birth mom, Crystal and her little man, Caiden.  And not only that, but to watch two new fathers, Will and Chad, lavish their love over him.  Congratulations, to you all!

Life is worth celebrating!
